The tour starts with arrival at Guwahati by flight, followed by a departure for Tezpur. Tezpur, the headquarters of Sonitpur district of Assam, is said to be the erstwhile Sonitpur, the kingdom of the legendary King Banasura. After checking in at the hotel, in the afternoon, you can visit Agnigarh, a hill on the banks of the Brahmaputra river and one of the big tourist attractions in Tezpur. The view of River Brahmaputra and the Kolia Bhomora Setu Bridge is really eye-catching. The rest of the time is free at leisure, and you can relax at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Ziro and make a stop to visit the Nyshi Village near Sagalee. Once you arrive at Ziro, you'll be greeted by a small and picturesque town surrounded by pine and bamboo groves, villages, a craft center, and a high-altitude Tarin fish farm, all situated at an altitude of 5000 feet. Explore the Apatani villages, including Hong Village, the largest in the Apatani Plateau, and other distinctive villages like Hari, Hija, Duta, Bula, Tajang, Bamin Michi, and Mudang Tage located in the Ziro Valley. Each village has male community halls called 'Lapang' and long rows of houses with a fertility totem in front of each. The Apatani people are known for their unique indigenous irrigation system and terraced farming, as well as their use of herbal salt that's rich in iodine. They are animists who worship natural gods like Dony-Polo (the sun and moon), and their women are skilled in handicraft and handloom, producing beautiful JIKHE patterned jackets and intricately patterned JILANG shawls. The men are experts in metallurgy and bamboo craft. The Apatani people celebrate the Myoko Festival in March and the Dree Festival in July.
Visit the Shiva Lingam in the calm hills of Kardo, which holds one of the largest Shiva Lingas with a height of 25 feet and a circumference of 22 feet. The linga was excavated recently and is located near Hapoli Town. Also, visit the District Museum in Ziro, which exhibits a variety of handicrafts and textiles, musical instruments, and weapons used by different tribes and sub-tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. It displays an exclusive collection of art and craft, jewellery, tribal headgears, and other artifacts reflecting the traditions of ancient tribal culture.
