Chardham Yatra is a revered pilgrimage circuit in Uttarakhand, India, encompassing four sacred destinations: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Pilgrims embark on this spiritual odyssey to seek blessings, cleanse their souls, and attain spiritual enlightenment.

The yatra unfolds over several days of travel by road or helicopter, offering devotees the chance to traverse through picturesque Himalayan landscapes and serene river valleys. It is a transformative journey of devotion and spiritual renewal, believed to wash away sins, grant divine blessings, and lead pilgrims towards ultimate salvation.

Upon your arrival at Haridwar railway station or Dehradun airport, our representative will be there to meet and assist you. They will be holding a name placard with your name on it for easy identification. You will then be directly transferred to Barkot which is approximately 220 kilometers away and takes 7 to 8 hours. On the way, you will stop to visit the Kempty Fall. Once you arrive in Barkot (1352 meters), you will check into your hotel. Barkot is surrounded by breathtaking snow-capped mountains, offering a magnificent view of the Bandar Punch peaks. You will spend the night at the hotel in Barkot.

Early in the morning, you will drive to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti, from where you can trek or hire a mule or Doli at your own cost to reach Yamunotri, which is located 6 kilometers away (36 kilometers drive in total). The temple was built twice in the present century after being destroyed and rebuilt by Mararani Gularia of Jaipur during the 19th century. Devotees can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. This cooked rice is taken home as "Prasad". Near the temple, "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, a rock pillar that is worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple. After taking a bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having a holy darshan of "Yamunaji," you will return back to Jankichatti and then drive to Barkot for an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to Uttarkashi, a town famous for its ashrams and temples, as well as for the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the ancient and sacred Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple was rebuilt in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State, using ancient architectural techniques. Next, visit the Shakti Temple, which is dedicated to goddess Parvati and boasts a massive and heavy trident that is six meters tall and has a circumference of 90 centimeters at the bottom. You can also explore other places of interest in the town. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

It's a wonderful day trip to Gangotri that holds immense spiritual importance as the birthplace of the Ganges. The journey through the picturesque Harsil Valley adds to the scenic charm, with its lush Deodar trees and majestic mountains. Witnessing the Submerged Shivling, a natural wonder where Lord Shiva is said to have sat while receiving the Ganges, adds a mystical touch to the pilgrimage. Additionally, exploring the confluence of Kedar Ganga and Bhagirathi rivers at Kedar Ganga Sangam offers a serene and introspective experience. This journey promises to be both memorable and spiritually enriching, allowing you to immerse yourself in the divine aura of these sacred sites. Return back to hotel in Uttarkashi.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive straight to Guptakashi. En route, marvel at the sight of the Mandakini River. Upon reaching Guptakashi, check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, you have the option to visit either the Ardh Narishwar Temple or the Trijuginarayan Temple, both offering serene settings for contemplation and devotion. Finally, retire for the night at the hotel in Guptakashi, ready to continue your spiritual journey refreshed in the morning.

After a medical check-up, proceed to Sonprayag. From here, you will need to take local shuttle taxis to Gaurikund at your own expense. The 19 Kms trek to Kedarnath begins from Gaurikund. It takes approx. 8 hrs to trek up. Alternatively, you can opt for pony or doli services at an additional cost. It is recommended to carry personal medicines, heavy woolens, toiletries, and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath. Upon arrival, check into a lodge. If time permits, you can have a holy darshan at the temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Kedarnath, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is situated amidst the majestic Kedarnath range. Legend has it that the Pandavas, seeking redemption after the Kurukshetra war, sought blessings from Lord Shiva at Kedarnath. The shrine is part of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage.

Early morning, before dawn, take a bath and proceed to the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek' to Lord Kedarnath. After darshan, trek down to Sonprayag and then drive back to your hotel in Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before driving to Badrinath, one of the 'Four Dhams' and a celebrated pilgrimage spot situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Before darshan, you can take a holy bath at Tapt Kund. Overnight stay at the hotel in Badrinath.

Early morning, have a bath in the Taptkund and then have darshan of Badrivishal. Optionally, perform Pinddan Shraddha for deceased ancestors at Brahamakapal. Explore other interesting sightseeing spots near Badrinath such as Mana village, Vyas Gufa, Maata Moorti temple, and more. Later, drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at the hotel in Rudraprayag.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before driving to Rishikesh, the 'place of sages', renowned for its spiritual significance and scenic beauty. Explore Rishikesh's attractions including Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Shivananda Ashram. Transfer to Dehradun airport for your onward flight. Alternatively, you can stay overnight in Rishikesh and explore more of its offerings, attending the evening Aarti ceremony at Ganga Ghat at an additional cost.
